About
The Royal Library, in words and images, is the story of the royal library that became Sweden’s national library.
The book originated in the 16th century. Then, one could not speak of the Royal Library but somewhat of a royal library. We follow KB’s mission, organization, and collection building up to the present day and contribute in various areas. What does the duty legislation mean? How many shelf miles books and magazines are arranged in the magazine? What is the difference between book objects and artist books?
What are the new media of our time? What is Suecana? What does the digitization process look like? Have the high-profile book thefts changed KB’s security work?
