Our Thoughts

Sherlockians all over the world should own a copy of this slipcased set comprising of three volumes. We are proud owners of the ones initially published in 2007. There are later releases, and the contents of them should be the same as the originals, with the exemption for a few more illustrations in the first editions.

With nearly 3,000 pages, the annotations are placed alongside the text for quick reference along with some of the original illustrations which accompanied the stories when they were first published.

Our only complaint about the sets is the thickness of the paper. The books are printed on a smooth, creamy acid-free paper, but they could have used a thicker paper. The illustrations bleed through on more than one-page spread. That being said, these volumes are an excellent addition to any library.
